The Entlebucher Preservation Foundation (EPF) was founded in 2021.
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of
the Entlebucher Mountain Dog breed.
RESEARCH
NEMDA PARTNERSHIP
We are a partner with the National Entlebucher Mountain Dog Association (NEMDA).
They are the AKC parent organization for Entlebuchers.
GLAUCOMA
Genetics of Glaucoma in the Entlebucher Mountain Dog
Dr. McLellan and her research team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was funded by the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Health Foundation (CHF) in October 2021.

Research is continuing and is supported by this Foundation and NEMDA.
DNA
Since 2021,in partnership with NEMDA, blood has been collected to build the Entlebucher DNA blood bank to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) DNA Repository.
